Ohio Takes Top Prize in the International Junior Red and White Show

MADISON, WIS. – The winning Aged Cow, Luck-E Russ-PP Astro-Red-ET, took home Senior and Grand Champion titles at the 2026 International Junior Red and White Show at World Dairy Expo. For this honor, Astro and owners, Allison, Lane and Callum Francis of Greenville, Ohio, received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award. The Reserve Grand Champion and the Intermediate Champion was the winning Spring Junior Two-Year-Old Cow, Ms Alpha Mystery-Red-ET, owned by Coltan J. and Eastan E. Brown of Strum, Wis. The Reserve Grand Champion honor received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award.

Official judge Aaron Eaton of Marietta, N. Y., and associate judge Anthony Liddle of Argyle, N. Y., evaluated 124 entries in the International Junior Red and White Show.

Kara-Kesh-RK Alt Sky-Red, owned by Curtis, Evelyn and Agnes Griffin of Thief River Falls, Minn. was the first Four-Year-Old Cow and Reserve Senior Champion of the Junior Show. Reserve Intermediate Champion was Ms S&s-Crest Symphny-Red-ET owned by L, H & B Smith and E Gunst of Watertown, Wis.

The winning Fall Heifer Calf, Kiefland Shinedown-Red, owned by Memphis Mossner of Lancaster, Wis., was donned the Junior Champion of the Junior Show at the 2026 International Junior Red and White Show at World Dairy Expo. The Reserve Junior Champion of the Junior Show was the winning Winter Heifer Calf, Cabaret Hvzda Mistletoe-Red, owned by Jillian L. Anderson of Centre Hall, Pa.

Luck-E Holsteins of Hampshire, Ill. was named the Premier Breeder of the Show and Oakfield Corners Dairy of Oakfield, N.Y. was awarded Premier Exhibitor. The Premier Sire of the Show was Farnear Altitude-Red-ET.

The Premier Breeder of the Heifer Show was presented to Oakfield Corners Dairy of Oakfield, N. Y., and the Premier Exhibitor was awarded to Canary Dairy of Fort Plain, N.Y. Blondin Alpha was awarded the Premier Sire of the Heifer Show.
