Meadow Brook Dairy Farms Wins Big at World Forage Analysis Superbowl
MADISON, WIS. – Out of 207 entries in the 40th World Forage Analysis Superbowl, Meadow Brook Dairy Farms of Manitowoc, Wis. was named the Grand Champion Forage Producer.
They won this award with their BMR Corn Silage entry and were presented $2,500 from Legacy Seeds. The Brevant seeds Forage Superbowl Luncheon presented awards to various finalists at World Dairy Expo. The Grand Champion First-Time Entrant award of $2,000, sponsored by New Holland, went to Mulhern Dairy of Fountain, Minn. for their Standard Corn Silage entry.
Quality Counts Awards were also presented to competitors during the luncheon. In the area of Quality Counts Corn Silage, Fisher Dairy of Marshall, Ind. captured top honors with their BMR Corn Silage, sponsored by Silostop. For Quality Counts Hay/Haylage, Andy Schmitt of Fort Atkinson, Iowa earned first place. His award was sponsored by Agri-King.
Sponsors of the 2024 World Forage Analysis Superbowl were led by Platinum Sponsor, Brevant seeds.
