Juliet Named Milking Shorthorn Champion
MADISON, WIS. – Mar-Leigh Presto Juliet-EXP, owned by Mary Sweeney of Bergen, NY, was named Senior and Grand Champion of the International Junior Milking Shorthorn Show. She earned the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award and the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion Junior Show Award along with her titles. First named Intermediate Champion and then Reserve Grand Champion was Valley View Oakleigh 2390-EXP, owned by Brittany Crawley of Gravette, Ark., who ended her day with the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion Junior Show Award.
Reserve Senior Champion honors were presented to Heavenly Berry-ET, owned by Brett Ritschard of Heavenly Show Cattle of Monroe, Wis. Reserve Intermediate Champion is Hard Core Premium Sprinkle-EXP, owned by M. Alexander, M. Elliot and J. Baynes of Bloomington, Ind.
Taking home the Junior Champion title was Heavenly Applecrunch, owned by Jazmin Wingert of Kent, Ill. Reserve Junior Champion is Maunesha Creek Made In Mexico, owned by Mena E. Schmitt of Sun Prairie, Wis.
Official judge Keith Topp, Botkins, Ohio. and associate judge Clark Morgan, Urbana, Ohio, placed 69 entries.
