Dommisse Joins World Dairy Expo® as Administrative Services Manager
MADISON, WIS. – World Dairy Expo is pleased to welcome its new Administrative Services Manager, Dawn Dommisse. Dommisse’s responsibilities include assisting the General Manager, coordinating corporate board and committee meetings, overseeing volunteer coordination and databases and managing daily operations of the Expo office and the annual event.
Dommisse joins the WDE team with nearly three decades of experience as an administrative professional. Spending most of her career in the credit union industry working with project management, databases, event and travel planning and volunteer coordination, she has experience working with thousands of attendees and volunteers. Dommisse has also previously worked with Madison Gas & Electric as the Corporate Travel and Meeting Manager and, most recently, with ABS Global as the Office Coordinator and Executive Assistant in the research and development division.
Interested in making a difference, she was a founding board member and vice-president of logistics of Badger Honor Flight, Inc., a non-profit organization that arranges trips for World War II veterans to visit their war memorials in Washington D.C. Dommisse resides in McFarland, Wis. with her husband, Kevin, and children, Caswell and Libby.
For over five decades, the global dairy industry has been meeting in Madison, Wis. for World Dairy Expo. Crowds of nearly 75,000 people from more than 100 countries attended the annual event in 2016. WDE will return Oct. 3-7, 2017 as attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to “Discover New Dairy Worlds.” Visit worlddairyexpo.com or follow us on Facebook and Twitter (@WDExpo or #WDE2017) for more information.
