Top Honors Awarded to Canadian Cow in International Ayrshire Show 

MADISON, WIS. – Multiple top honors were awarded to Margot Patagonie owned by Ferme Margot of Ste Perpétue, Qué. on October 7, 2016 in the International Ayrshire Show at World Dairy Expo®. Patagonie earned first place in the Six-Year & Over Cow before being named Senior Champion Female and Grand Champion Female and was also merited with the Udder Comfort $1,000 Grand Champion Cash Award. Her owner, Ferme Margot, was awarded Premiere Breeder, as well.  Bear-Ayr Burdette Ray owned by Budjon Farms and Peter Vail of Lomira, Wis., was selected as Reserve Grand Champion Female, after placing first in the Four-Year-Old class and receiving Reserve Senior Champion honors.                                            

321 animals were shown under official judge, Molly Sloan, Columbus, Wis. and associate judge Blair Weeks, Charlottetown, PEI, Canada.
