Diamond Shines Bright at the International Junior Red & White Show

MADISON, WIS. – Garay-Red Diamond-Red-ET caught the judges’ eye at the International Junior Red & White Show. She was named Senior Champion after topping the Four-Year-Old Cow Class and took home the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award and the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award. She is exhibited by Landree and Dakota Fraley of Millmont, Pennsylvania. Reserve Grand Champion, Arb-Flo-Spr Honeybun-Red-ET, exhibited by Jacey and Hadley Ross of Delavan, Wisconsin, received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award.

Rounding out the cow champion lineup were Intermediate Champion Female Milksource Awesome Time-Red and Reserve Intermediate Champion Female of the Junior Show Schluter Atlanta-Red-ET. Time was the winning Junior Two-Year-Old Cow exhibited by Tristen Hans Ostrom of Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Atlanta, the Senior Two-Year-Old Cow, was exhibited by Matthew & Elizabeth Gunst and Evan J Hathaway of Hartford, Wisconsin.

Junior Champion honors went to W-Brook Hottest-Red, who was shown by K Hawvermale, N & C Spreng and H & T Hinz of Wooster, Ohio. Hottest was the first place Fall Heifer Calf. Kress-Hill Spicy-Red-ET, the winning junior in the Winter Yearling Heifer Class, was Reserve Junior Champion and exhibited by Jacey and Hadley Ross of Delavan, Wisconsin.

Placing a total of 143 animals in the International Junior Red & White Show were official judge Pat Lundy of Granville, New York, and associate judge Gary Jones of Gorey, County Wexford, Ireland.
