Shakira Seizes Grand at the International Holstein Show

MADISON, WIS. – Grand Champion of the International Holstein Show goes to Senior Champion and first place Six-Year-Old & Older Cow, Erbacres Snapple Shakira-ET, exhibited by Jacobs, Antelimarck, Ty-D Holsteins, K Theraulaz, and Attaboy Holsteins of Cap-Sante, Quebec. With that title, Shakira takes home the Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy and the $1000 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. Reserve Grand Champion honors went to Oakfield Solomon Footloose-ET, exhibited by Showbox Sire and Vierra Dairy of Rudolph, Wis.

Intermediate Champion of the International Holstein Show went to Glenirvine Unix Sally, the first place Senior Three-Year-Old, exhibited by Milk Source, Laurie Fisher, Cy Letter, and R Sabo of Kaukauna, Wis. Reserve Intermediate Champion honors went to second place Senior Three-Year-Old, Rosemary Unix Goldie, exhibited by Jim Butler of Chebanse, Ill.

Junior Champion of the International Holstein Show honors went to the winning Spring Yearling, Kingsway Caught A Vibe, owned by Kingsway Farms and Velthuis Farms from Hastings, Ontario. Reserve Junior Champion honors went to K-Hurst Alleyoop Primed, owned by Doeberiener, Bowen, T. Carter, and D. Reed of West Salem, Ohio.

Premier Breeder honors went to Ferme Jacobs Inc. of Cap-Sante, Quebec. Premier Exhibitor honors went to Jim Butler of Chebanse, Ill. The Premier Sire of the International Holstein Show was Croteau Lesperron Unix-ET.

Official judge, Lynn Harbaugh of Marion, Wis., and associate judge, Jason Danhof of Waukon, Iowa, evaluated the 459 entries.
