Sequel Secures Grand at the International Junior Red & White Show

MADISON, WIS. – Senior and Grand Champion went to the winning junior of the Four-Year-Old Class, Synergy Spikes Sequel-Red, owned by Jacob and Claire Betley and Evan Jauquet of Pulaski, Wis. She is the recipient of the Lillian and Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award and the $500 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. Standing next to her as Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand is the winning junior of the Aged Cow Class, Luck-E Diamond Tonto-Red. Tonto is owned by Jacob Menzi of Millport, N.Y.

Intermediate Champion of the Junior Show went to the Senior Three-Year-Old, Schluter Atlanta-Red-ET, owned by Matthew and Elizabeth Gunst and Evan Hathaway of Hartford, Wis. The winning Junior Three-Year-Old, Cherry-Lor Warrior Lime-Red was tapped Reserve Intermediate Champion. Lime is owned by Phillip Mccormick of Millmont, Penn.

Betley Lightsout-Red-ET, the winning Winter Yearling, was deemed Junior Champion of the International Junior Red & White Show. Lightsout is owned by Claire and Jacob Betley of Pulaski, Wis. Junior Champion honors went to the winning Winter Heifer Calf, Betley Warrior Lynx-Red, owned by Kamryn, Kate, and Colt Kasbergen of Tulare, Calif.

Official judge, Phillip Topp of Botkins, Ohio, and associate judge, Tanner Schmaling of Elkhorn, Wis., evaluated the 133 junior entries.
