WISCONSIN COW EARNS TOP HONORS AT NATIONAL GUERNSEY SHOW

Four Winds Mentor Highlite, owned by Clark & Joy Vilter of Hartland, Wisconsin, was named Grand Champion at the National Guernsey Show – Madison and received the Udder Comfort $1,000 Grand Champion Cash Award. Highlite was sired by Mar Ral Royal Mentor and at 03-00 she produced 17,817M with 767F and 557P. Reserve Champion honors went to Mar Kat Jake Elsie, owned by Tyler, Paige & Justin Chupp and Dakota Zapalac of Inola, Oklahoma. The Premier Sire was awarded to Trotacre Loral Tiller for the fifth year in a row.

The Premier Breeder award had a tie for first to Knapps Guernseys of Epworth, Iowa and Four Winds Farm of Hartland, Wisconsin. Four Winds Farm was also named Premier Exhibitor.

Judge Fowler Branstetter of Edmonton, Kentucky placed 190 entries.
